This is a picture of me in my costume for Continuum 5. My friend Julia made the skirt, adjusted the corset design, made all sorts of wonderful suggestions for jewellery etc. The pale make up looks very harsh here, but in the low lighting of the venue I'm told it looked pretty good. I don't think this picture does justice to how I think I looked. I don't normally feel like I'm very striking, but I very much felt striking and sexy in this outfit. I received many many comments, and also more than a passing inspection of my decolletage. I wasn't bothered by that. Frankly, I was a bit mesmerised by it myself.

Anyway, thank you to my friends who helped with the costume, and thanks to Continuum for giving me an excuse to dress up and have so much fun.



My feet hurt a lot now. But it was very much worth it.

Tomorrow - my guest of honour speech, a reading and a panel about fanfic. Should be more fun! :-)
