D: My poor cat. And Heroes? WTF???

  • Oct. 30th, 2008 at 10:37 PM
Petra
Hey universe! Fix my cat. And Heroes, if you can, though that may be beyond you.

Petra keeps yowling. I think she's in pain, but they said she didn't need anything. She settles but then she yowls and gets up. She yowls while she's trying to sit and ends up on her gammy leg. I hate this. My poor poor kitty.

Watching Heroes isn't helping. What the actual fuck? I give up. I have better things to do with an hour of my life than try to work out what pointless 'twist' they're going to bring in next. It's all just comic book cliche, no actual substance, where characters don't have any continuity or substance beyond whatever bizarre storyline has been lately pulled out of someone's arse. *grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*.

*hugs*

Ah, poor Petra. I am sending her lots of love and get well wishes. Poor thing. I hope she will be as fit as fiddle very soon.

I have never seen Heroes. It sounds very frustrating.

In happier news, some band called Fall Out Boy are going to be in Australia in February. Going? My jealousy is intense! :-)

Thank you for the love and wishes - they seem to have got here, because she didn't yowl all night as I'd feared and though she is still far from her old insoucient self, she's resting.

And yes, Heroes is frustrating. It's like someone has randomly pulled out plot ideas and characters to do them and then just written it to make the thing happen without any thought as to what that character would do such a thing. With the additional aggravation of a lot of those plot ideas being BAD. Sigh.

OMG, I *know* about the tour!! I squealed like a 13 year old and immediately started contacting my bandfriends to find out WHERE WE ARE ALL GOING. Bugger unemployment. I missed them *last* time because I'd been out of work and didnt want to be irresponsible with my resources. This time it's all "sod that, I'm gonna be in the pit with Mary and Audrey, jumping and yelling and trying not to knock over all the tweenies". LOL. Hopefully I'll be able to take some pics.

Tickets go on sale next week. I'm sooooo STOKED!

Ah, I am so glad to hear that Petra had a good night and I do hope that they continue.

I'm so glad you are not going to miss out on this tour. How many shows will you be able to make it to? I absolutely know that you will have a blast and I am going to want every single detail that there is.

I am stoked for you. Jealous as hell...but stoked!!!!:-)

Um. One show. Just the one they are doing in Melbourne. It's bad enough I'm springing for concert tickets when I don't hvae a job, let alone multiple tickets in multiple locations which would all require plane tickets!! :-D So I'm really going to enjoy it and make it count!

Yeah, I was only able to do one show on the last tour too. It will have been one year this month and I miss my boys!!!! You totally just have to make the most out of that one show...and I know that you will!!

Poor Petra! Big kitty kisses to her (and you).

I hear you on the Heroes front. I gave up on it at the end of last season. I just don't think I'm willing to put as much brain power into it as is required to make sense of it.

It's a bit like trying to read the sanskrit in a pile of spaghetti that fell on the floor. Try all you like, there is *no sense in it*.

Petra is doing much better this morning and therefore so am I! Thanks for the good thoughts, they are obviously working.
